00:00There are a lot of capabilities where we are hopelessly dependent on the United States,

00:06whether it's air missile defense, air-to-air refueling, heavy lift, surveillance aircraft.

00:13These things we will have to do more for amongst ourselves in Europe, and that means closer

00:18cooperation amongst the European defense companies so that we have that capability and we're

00:24not always dependent on the Americans, because the Americans, I think, feel very strongly

00:30now that their number one threat isn't Russia, it's China, and they have to reinforce their

00:36own military over in Indo-Pacific, and therefore we have to pick up the strain in Europe.
