00:00Ukraine, of course, has had numerous setbacks lately, not least on the battlefield, but

00:04one in particular from the United States, well, two in particular from the United States,

00:07the suspension of military aid and the suspension of intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

00:14But we have heard from President Trump, who said on Air Force One that the United States

00:18had just about ended that suspension.

00:22I mean, as well as making for more cordial talks in Jeddah, could that make, do you think,

00:28is that going to make a significant difference, once again, to Ukraine's abilities on the

00:32battlefield?

00:33Well, I hope, you know, ending the suspension, I hope, will enable Ukraine to better defend

00:38itself, particularly against these appalling missile strikes.

00:42But I always thought the suspension, you know, was a temporary one.

00:46As I said, President Trump is driving both sides to the negotiating table, and you might

00:52not like some of his individual tactics in doing that.

00:56You might feel some of them are a bit one-sided.

00:59But the key thing is that those negotiations have now a prospect of getting started in

01:04earnest.

01:05And that, in the end, is the only way that this war is going to be brought to a conclusion.
