00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. declared May as the Ease of Doing Business Month.

00:06This is to encourage the government's efforts to have a faster and better service and to build a business-friendly environment.

00:17Under Proclamation 818, which was passed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin,

00:22the Anti-Red Tape Authority, or ARTA, ordered the month-long celebration.

00:29Here, ARTA must implement the necessary programs for the purpose of the campaign.

00:36All government agencies, including government-owned and controlled corporations,

00:41or GOCCs, and local government units are ordered to assist in its success.

00:48Aside from the EODB month, the government's efforts to fight the red tape,

00:57to improve the regulatory environment, and to speed up the economy's growth.
