00:20Kusairi Yahya said the arrests followed a joint operation with the Immigration Department

00:25and Department of Environment, DOE, at 12 premises in Selangor and Johor.

00:31The suspects, aged between 30 and 40, were detained in Selangor and Segamat, Johor, between

00:379.30am and 12pm on Monday in an operation codenamed OPS-X.

00:42Ahmad Kusairi revealed that some company owners had misused expatriate applications and bribed

00:48enforcement officers to shield their activities.

00:52The arrests came after three months of intelligence gathering.

00:56All suspects were taken to the Malacca MACC office for further investigation.

01:02The case is being investigated under Section 16, Subsection B, Subsection A of the MACC

01:08Act, 2009.
