00:00The latest division that was announced was the women's flyweight division for the pfl tournament this year

00:05125 pounds these are the eight women who are going to be vying

00:08For that championship and that half a million dollars in bonus money at the end

00:16Laura donna brazil is going to be in their 7-0 record in mma mostly submissions former jungle fight champion

00:24So, you know not really much experience as far as the upper levels of mma over here in the u.s

00:30With some of these other organizations, but have a very good start to her career so far, especially down there in brazil

00:35Then you also have diana asfogara

00:38Who is from russia 26 year old is six and one in her mma career

00:43She's won bellator won her first six fights before losing her first fight to justine kish back in august of 2023

00:50So haven't seen her for a while after the whole uh crossover of bellator into the pfl

00:55We'll see how she's been doing

00:56You know if she has progressed in that time off had a great start to her career

01:00How does she rebound from that first loss and taking all this time off?

01:03You also have a large joan from brazil. The 30 year old is 12 and 9 in her mma career

01:52Organizations of this division. She has losses against ronda rousey. Misha tate valentina shevchenko when she was in the ufc

01:58So she's fought the top ladies in this weight class and others in her time in her

02:03Mma career. She had a nine fight win streak in bellator and the pfl after leaving the ufc before losing to tyla santos last august

02:11She has wins last year over velasquez and watanabe who are also in this tournament as you see so a lot of experience against top

02:19Especially ones that are fighting in this tournament that could help her out

02:22Give her a little insight into how to beat them possibly when she matches up with one of them, uh down the line

02:32Watanabe is 36 years old. She's fought risen bellator and the pfl 13 3 and 1 in her career mostly decision wins for her

02:40Uh throughout her career so far. She has lost to karmush not once but twice

02:44So, you know, i'm sure that's a matchup. She is hoping to avoid, you know, if you lose to someone once

02:49You probably want to get a chance at them to try to show that you are better

04:15Had a three-fight pfl win streak before losing to dakota ditrova for the title last year

04:20So a wealth of experience against the top fighters if you're gonna look at this bracket

04:26It all depends on how the matchups shake out
