00:00Transactions in GSIS are expected to be faster with the help of their new open digital business center.

00:15We formally launched the Government Service Insurance System or GSIS,

00:20the so-called new digital business center or DBC here in Quezon City.

00:26The GSIS DBC launched by the leaders of several government agencies

00:32including Arta Director General Ernesto Perez,

00:35General Manager of PTB Antonio Baltazar Otovine-Vrida,

00:39and members of PAA, PNA, CSC, and others.

00:43The DBC provides alternative services to GSIS branches

00:48that are far from speeding up the transactions of members and pensioners.

00:52It is part of the government's plans to make it easier

00:56and to make the process easier for government agencies

00:59through digitalization in accordance with President Ferdinand Marquez Jr.'s order

01:05that services should not be made difficult for the government.

01:08As you know, digitalization is an answer for the so-called ease of doing business.

01:14And not only for the ease of doing business, but also for transparency.

01:19Our government agencies who want to check if they can get a loan

01:24do not need to go out and go to the GSIS office.

01:28That is the guidance that we give to our members.

01:32The guidance that our beloved President Ferdinand Marquez Jr.

01:37gave instructions to me that it should be done immediately for our government associates.

01:44Through the DBC, members do not need to queue for a long time,

01:48especially the pensioners.

01:50Using the GSIS mobile application, you can now access your account,

01:54contribution, loan eligibility, benefits, and pension of members.

01:59Almost 100% of GSIS branches in the entire Philippines

02:02already use digital 360 or DBC.

02:05After the launching of DBC in Quezon City,

02:08it is expected to be able to provide services to more than 300,000 GSIS members

02:14in the National Capital Region.

02:16The target of GSIS is to complete digitalization of 100% this year in the entire country.
