With the cost of living crisis still affecting millions of people around the country, we’re asking people if they feel like they’re being ripped off when they go shopping.

00:00I appreciate that people who sell us these goods, they have costs. The farmers have costs

00:08and usually they're the ones who get the least help. We've got this tax coming in on farmers

00:13and you know, if it puts more farms out of business and the whole country just becomes

00:19like two farms, that's bad for everybody and it's definitely bad for prices.

00:24If you look at how much task was made recently off the cost of living prices and the fact

00:28that they're letting staff off is ridiculous. I'm sorry. It's like what people are making

00:34off it and what they are then giving back is not fair.

00:40I've been in business myself in the past and I know that sometimes, you know, it happens

00:44doesn't it? You've got to pay, businesses have to pay more. It goes all the way up.

00:49It's not just the shopkeepers that are ripping you off. They've got overheads, everybody's

00:53got overheads. It's the way of the world unfortunately but yeah, at the end of it, you know, it's

00:58hard to find the extra money.
