00:12Belgian police have arrested 16 people in 22 raids, but Paris fugitive Salah Abdel-Salam

00:18was not among them. Despite the raids, authorities maintained their highest terror alert in the

00:22capital for a third straight day.

00:25Nineteen raids were carried out in Molenbeek and other boroughs of Brussels, and three

00:30raids were carried out in other cities. One of those detained was injured when a car he

00:35was in tried to ram police during an attempted getaway.

00:39Russian President Vladimir Putin is in Iran today for talks, sure to sharpen attention

00:44on his alliance with Iran and Syria. Russia is propping up President Bashar al-Assad against

00:50Syrian rebels, most recently with airstrikes, and is working hand-in-hand with Iran, which

00:55is coordinating pro-al-Assad fighters on the ground.

00:59Opposition candidate Mauricio Macri won Argentina's presidential election, marking an end to the

01:17Ruling party candidate Daniel Scioli, Fernandez's chosen successor, conceded and said he had

01:24called Macri to congratulate him on his victory.
