00:11Tailgaters are now in the crosshairs of new speed radars installed by Dubai police. With

00:15more than 50 new Al-Burj radars already fitted on Dubai roads, police said they plan to add

00:20another 50 in the next year. The German-built radar uses laser technology to catch speed

00:25offenders.

00:26Algerians vote today in a presidential election with incumbent Abdelaziz Bouteflika widely

00:31expected to win despite his chronic health problems. More than 260,000 police have been

00:36deployed to protect the 50,000 polling booths set up across Africa's largest country.

00:41Oman's foreign minister has said the crisis between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, UAE and Bahrain

00:46has ended. Yusuf bin Alawi told Arabic daily newspaper Al-Hayat that the rift is now part

00:52of the past. He said the crisis was resolved internally between Gulf states without allowing

00:56for anyone to intervene.

00:59Ukraine's interior minister says three pro-Russian militants have been killed and 13 wounded

01:59against Barcelona in last night's Spanish Kings Cup final. The Wales winger sprinted

02:03from the halfway line into the penalty area five minutes from time in Valencia before

02:08slipping the ball brilliantly between the legs of the Barca goalkeeper to seal a 2-1

02:13victory.

02:14Cricket and the second Indian Premier League match between Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers
