00:00Vice President Sara Duterte has broken her silence after over 200 members of the House

00:05of Representatives approved her impeachment on Wednesday.

00:09Several lawmakers reacted to her remark during the first press conference following the impeachment

00:15complaint.

00:16AKBAY and Representative Percy Sandana, who supported the impeachment, criticized Duterte's

00:21statement calling it deeply ironic.

00:23For his part, Surigao del Norte's 2nd District Representative Robert Ace Barbers stated that

00:29their support for the impeachment of Vice President Duterte was well-founded and not

00:34influenced by any amount of aid or money.

00:37House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez stated that they leave it to the Senate to decide

00:42on when to begin the impeachment trial.

00:45House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Representative Sandro Marcos, on the other hand, explained

00:50his decision to be the first to sign the impeachment complaint and why it shouldn't come as a surprise

00:56that he was the first to do so.
