00:00With one signature, France hopes to make progress in the world of artificial intelligence.

00:06In the deal signed on Thursday, the United Arab Emirates will build a giant data centre

00:11in France as part of a greater AI complex.

00:14Worth 30 to 50 billion euros, with a computing capacity of up to one gigawatt, the centre

00:20will be the largest in Europe.

00:22The announcement set Paris' AI summit on the right track.

00:26The government hopes to make the most of the event and announce all of their latest investments.

00:31Like for example the 360 million euros set to create nine AI clusters, which would train

00:37up to 100,000 people by 2030.

00:40We will raise awareness among 2 million French people by 2027 to familiarize them with the

00:47use of AI.

00:48AI is an opportunity for everyone and must be absolutely used for the benefit of each

00:54person to avoid creating a new digital disease.

00:59France also announced they had built 35 sites ready to host data centres.
