00:00Boy, Auburn is on some run here, 98 to 70, they win again.

00:05They've been winning games, you know, left, right, center,

00:08and basically just blowing teams out as well.

00:11Very much on pace right now to be one of the number one

00:13seeds in the NCAA tournament.

00:15They'd have to significantly drop off to not be, I think,

00:17or some like crazy loss in the SEC tournament.

00:20Is this a legit team that has a chance to win it all, Mike?

00:23It's nearly impossible for them not to get a number one

00:28seed at this point, Craig.

00:29It would have to be, it's just not conceivable

00:34with the distance that they've put themselves

00:37between themselves and the rest of the group.

00:39The teams that are chasing the fourth number one seed

00:42at this point, Tennessee, Florida,

00:44aren't nearly as accomplished as Auburn is,

00:47standing there as the number one overall.

00:49And they absolutely have a chance to win it.

00:51There are a couple of things, though,

00:52that make them different than a typical champion, Craig.

00:56First of all, it's the idea of having

00:59your one true point guard.

01:01They play a couple of different players at that position.

01:04They mix and match.

01:05Sometimes they play them together.

01:07Usually it's somebody, almost exclusively,

01:11it's somebody with a point guard

01:13that is totally in charge.

01:15The old thing may be in football

01:17where you have two quarterbacks, you don't have any.

01:19Well, have we ever seen a team

01:21that basically played multiple point guards

01:24win a championship?

01:25It doesn't come up often.

01:27So there's that.

01:28And there's also the question of,

01:29do they have that NBA first round pick?

01:32You look at the mock drafts,

01:33they're all freshmen and that sort of thing.

01:35I'm not sure that's totally reliable,

01:38but I think Jani Broome eventually

01:41will be a first round pick.

01:42Their fifth year senior center,

01:45who's having an unbelievable year.

01:47I just can't see 30 teams saying,

01:49no, we can't be helped by a guy

01:51who is that mobile, that skilled, that hungry,

01:55and that interested in becoming better.

01:58He won't go in the lottery,

01:59but I just can't see that he wouldn't be

02:01a first round pick at some point,

02:03and that would fulfill that qualification.
