00:21President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. announced the start of the 2025 National Tax Campaign today in Pasay City.

00:33This is part of the series of activities for the year of the Tax Campaign of the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

00:40It aims to voluntarily follow the payment of the correct taxes.

00:45In addition, let us all celebrate the theme of the campaign that calls for citizens and businessmen

00:53to pay the correct taxes used to fund government programs for the economic recovery and development of the country.

01:24President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. issued an executive order to strengthen the Regional Development Council in the country.

01:33Under Executive Order No. 82,

01:36the RDCs are established as the highest planning and policy-making body for the socio-economic development of the regions.

01:46The RDCs are formed by governors, mayors,

01:50representatives from the private sector, and other government officials.

01:55Each RDC will have an executive committee to speed up decisions.

02:01The role of the private sector representatives will also be clear

02:04who will come from different sectors such as agriculture, infrastructure, and energy.

02:11This will also strengthen the regional investment programming

02:15and regulate the National Economic and Development Authority and Department of Budget and Management

02:21to ensure the correct funding for regional development programs.

02:26The RDC approved projects and programs are also the top priority for government agencies.
