00:00The government in Pagitiya has no doubt that there is enough rice in the country by 2025.

00:07In the program Mike Abilaib,

00:09National Food Authority Administrator Larry Lackson said

00:13that they have helped the Department of Agriculture in supporting farmers

00:18to increase the supply of rice,

00:20such as providing rice, fertilizers,

00:23farming machines, and irrigation to farmers.

00:27The Development Bank of the Philippines also lent money

00:31to farmers who have almost no crops

00:34and have financial assistance while waiting for rice.

00:38Meanwhile, Administrator Lackson said that

00:42NFA Rice has 300,000 bags

00:45that can be distributed to the whole country.

00:48This will be added at the end of January

00:51or in the first half of February.

00:55I believe that the current state of the NFA

00:58and what we think is good for the future

01:02not only for the NFA, but also for the whole country.

01:06I hope that the mandate to release rice to the market,

01:10even if it is limited,

01:12is a big thing to help our countrymen

01:18because rice is cheaper.

01:20And secondly, to help the NFA

01:23because we also need to generate income

01:29to continue our activities.
