We had an extremely good sale. $200 to $300 better than we expected. Black heifers sold
00:05
extremely well. The top price for the day was $2,500 for some Neolingua bingley heifers. He
00:12
had some 121 heifers in today. They all sold extremely well. There was probably 1,700 heifers
00:21
yarded. Black heifers were each side of $2,000. You know, your bigger, better heifers up to that
00:27
$2,500, but mostly $2,200 around that mark. The coloured heifers, they sort of struggled a bit
00:32
today. There was some Hereford heifers here today that made $1,100. I thought they were probably
00:37
good buying. We're still going to get a calf out of them, but they're going to be good buying.
00:42
Overall, the sale was well above expectations. Up here at Narracourt next week, next Thursday,
00:47
we'll probably have 3,500 skiers. Could even be 4,000. And probably 2,000 heifers on the next
00:53
morning on Friday morning.
