00:00The EP Stud Breeders held their Pre-Ram Saal Expo, Merino Expo.
00:06We've had about 17, 18 studs today display.
00:12A lot of their rams that they're going to have for Saal come end of July and throughout August on property auctions.
00:20So we've had commercial breeders from all over Air Peninsula and other stud breeders from other parts of the state come over.

00:31So we've had a really good rollout and it's been a successful day.
00:36It's been a tough last 12 to 18 months.
00:39And, you know, I think it could be some tough times still for a while.
00:50Sheet numbers are low, Merino U numbers are low.
00:53That's going to take some time to breed up.
00:56But lamb prices are so high, mutton's so high, wool's, you know, okay.
01:03I just think that the sheep producers that have been able to hold on to as many sheep as they could through these last 12 months are going to reap the rewards down the track.
