00:00What do you think of this guy, Marcus Freeman, what he's accomplished in three years in South Bend?

00:05I mean, he's done a great job. You listen to him on the side, you watch him on the sideline.

00:10It's almost like he's young enough where he's carefree, he's relaxed.

00:14I remember when I was at Auburn, 36-year-old head coach, you don't even know all the bad things that can happen.

00:20You just get, you're motivated. I think he's been a great inspiration to this team.

00:24I think he, they feed off of him. There's a great relationship.

00:29I think it's a special, I think this team right here, Notre Dame, I was never picking them in the finals.

00:34The two teams playing tonight were two of my top four, but Notre Dame has something special.

00:39They got a quarterback that has it. I'm not, my dad used to say, I don't know what it is about him, but he's got it.

00:45I think their quarterback has it. He make the right play at the right time to give them something.

00:50Then their quarter, their team has great chemistry this year.

00:53Don't know how the other two teams tonight are going to be the ones with the most talent.

00:57But Notre Dame now has got themselves in a position where I say, you know what?

01:00This team finds a way to win.

01:03Coach, you're a guy that's been in a million big games.

01:08What's it like having that stress in your life that they put you under, the media, the fans,

01:18everything that piles on a guy through the years?

01:22How did you deal with the stress of it all?

01:25Because I would have keeled over.

01:26I would have been tucked in a ball like I was in my mother's womb with a bottle of scotch.

01:33How did you deal with it?

01:34Nothing worse than a Saturday night game.

01:36You're in that hotel room all day.

01:38That's where the distress comes.

01:41Now, once the ball's kicked off, you're working too hard to have any of it.

01:45And there's no stress during the game.

01:46It's just there's too much to do.

01:48And of course, I call plays and some of these guys are involved with their scheme.

01:52It's all before the game and preparation of the game.

01:55And you know who the pressure's on right now?

01:57Ron Day.

01:58At Ohio State, there's only two goals.

02:01You win the conference, you beat Michigan, or you win the national championship.

02:05He's like 0-4 right now versus Michigan.

02:07And there shouldn't be.

02:08I'm not sure it's legitimate, but they've been riding him pretty hard.

02:12And he needs a win probably more than anybody out there just because of how much they've lost

02:16to Michigan the last four weeks, the fourth season.
