So Tim, you've just finished 12 marathons in 12 days, how are you feeling?
00:03
Yeah, I'm okay, I'm okay. I've had a few problems with my knees throughout the days,
00:08
well my knee more than my knees, but yeah, overall not so bad.
00:13
Finishing the snow as well?
00:14
Yeah, it was a bit of a challenge. It definitely makes it harder,
00:19
a bit slippy and you've just got to take it that little bit steadier.
00:23
You're raising money for Seven Hospice?
00:25
Yeah, I think at the moment they're just giving pages up to about 3,100 I think.
00:31
I think with the gift aid, someone mentioned earlier, just over 4,000.
00:37
Hopefully, now you guys are covering it as well, it might go up a tad more.
00:43
They looked after my nan and towards the end she was quite scared in the hospital
00:49
and they moved her to the hospice and then she was at peace in there.
00:54
And then my grandad, he's always volunteered for the hospice as well.
00:59
And then, yeah, you don't hear a bad word about them, everything you hear is,
01:04
they looked after so and so, they looked after this person, looked after that person,
01:07
you don't hear anything bad at all.
01:09
And the local, I'd rather do something for a local charity than,
01:14
every charity is good, but I'd rather look after the locals.
01:18
Um, the first day, I basically, I didn't, it sounds a bit bad, sounds a bit grim,
01:24
but I didn't cut my toenail, I was quite short enough and I busted my big toenail up.
01:30
And then the second day, I changed trainers to try and stop that from happening
01:35
and I got a blister on the same foot on the little toe.
01:38
Yeah, so the first two days, I hit those two problems and then like day three,
01:42
four, five, I was kind of compensating on the left leg and I think that's where the
01:46
left knee is playing up.
01:47
But as the days have gone on, like since eight, it's been a bit better and like,
01:53
I want to thank everyone, like there's a fair few lads that joined me on the bike
01:57
and then joined me for half or full runs.
02:00
So it's been good really, it's something to,
02:03
it's been like a goal to have over the Christmas break, so thank you.
02:07
Just quickly, what are your plans from here on, have you got any more challenges coming up?
02:11
We'll see, I have a tendency to plan things.
02:18
When it'll be, I don't know, but maybe, maybe something a bit bigger.
02:24
No, it's 120.
