00:07weeks remaining around the National Football League of a divisional duel on

00:11a Thursday night? Again, no implications for the AFC West. That divisional title

00:17race is already done, finito, complete, because the Chiefs have won it for a

00:22ninth consecutive year. But both the Chargers and the Broncos in playoff

00:27spots entering last night still remain in those wildcard spots around the AFC,

00:33but a flip-flop. The Chargers enter week 16, 8 and 6, the seventh seed in the AFC

00:40playoff picture. Denver enter week 16, Joe, 9 and 5, the sixth seed in that AFC

00:47postseason picture. But with the Chargers winning and a Broncos defeat, the

00:52Chargers have swept the season series and now hold the direct head-to-head

00:56tiebreaker. So LA, the sixth seed. Denver, the seventh seed. LA with a couple of

01:03losses this week, perhaps from Indianapolis, who's a home favorite

01:07against Tennessee, and maybe the Dolphins, who are a very slight home favorite

01:12against the San Francisco 49ers. The Chargers might clinch that AFC playoff

01:17ticket by the end of this weekend. Things get a little bit more precarious and

01:24shaky, Joe, for the Denver Broncos after the loss last night on the road in LA.

01:31Very precarious, given the fact that they've got to play now, what, Cincinnati

01:36and the Kansas City Chiefs here over the next couple of weeks. Nothing

01:41gimme-wise there. So, and it's kind of crazy, Ben, because the Denver Broncos are

01:48the quintessential overachiever. That's what they were this year. And now we're

01:55starting to see maybe not the luck is starting to run out. They were lucky last

02:00week to win that game because the offense did not play well. They played

02:05well in the first half, disappeared in the second half, and the defense got

02:08absolutely trashed. So can they get the ten wins? It'll be well-deserved if they

02:15do win one of the next two here. I think that'll about do it, but there's no

02:19guarantee they're gonna win ten games, Ben, with this final two they got.
