00:00I tell you what, there's still plenty of great markets at the FD Sportsbook, taking a look

00:07at the AFC.

00:08We know the divisional leaders by now, Jeff, Chiefs, Bills, Steelers, Texans, but I'm more

00:14interested here in the wildcard standings.

00:16The Ravens sitting at 10 and 5, charges with a big win in week 16 over the Denver Broncos

00:22for Thursday night football.

00:24The Broncos still with a very good chance of making a nice return into the playoffs.

00:29And then you've got the Colts, Dolphins and the Bengals still with a very slight chance

00:33of making their forward step.

00:35So let's take a look at the wildcard contenders.

00:38How big was that performance for the Chargers last Thursday night?

00:43It's huge.

00:44It was a much needed win and now all of a sudden where it's the Broncos that have to

00:50be a little bit concerned here, their schedule is not exactly easy to finish the season here.

00:58And all of a sudden with the Chargers, that win there preventing the Broncos from locking

01:04up the playoff berth, boy oh boy, I mean, now all of a sudden the Dolphins, the Bengals,

01:11even the Colts are still alive in this thing because, well, let's face it, the Bengals

01:17have who?

01:18Cincinnati this week that they're going to have to deal with and then they don't exactly

01:23finish the season off in great fashion because they got to take on Kansas City.

01:27So the Broncos and what this version of the Broncos we've seen offensively over the last

01:33two to three weeks doesn't exactly exude confidence here.

01:38And now you've got the Miami Dolphins who got to take on the Browns and the Jets.

01:42The Colts have the Giants and Jags and boy, just like that, the Bengals and Chiefs games

01:49if they go 0-2, it's going to be very interesting to see what happens and who ends up getting

01:56that final wildcard spot because right now, Denver, they just have to win in their end.

02:02But those are not too easy games for the Denver Broncos, the Bengals and the Chiefs.

02:06Yeah, it's going to be very tough going into Cincy and then taking on the Kansas City Chiefs,

02:12the reigning champs, I guess what would bode well in their favor of the Chiefs decide to

02:18not play some of their starters in that final week would really give the Broncos a big chance.

02:23What do we make of the Chargers?

02:24You know, we talked a little Thursday Night Football, that was a big performance come

02:28from behind there in the second half, Justin Herbert, when he wants to take the result

02:34into his hands, he can absolutely get it done.

02:36He looks to be one of the best quarterbacks.

02:38When he's not on, they go a little missing, they get a little stagnant, they struggle

02:42to get it downfield.

02:44But is this a team that could actually, you know, trouble some of the big contenders coming

02:48out of the division?

02:49I mean, out of the conference, I should say in the AFC?

02:54It is interesting, this Chargers team, is it not?

02:59Because we know the schedule was certainly not the hardest early on in the season.

03:06And basically, they did what they had to do, right?

03:09They ended up winning games, the defense was dominant.

03:13It allowed Herbert to get healthier from the preseason injury he had with the foot.

03:19But now, of course, he's still banged up, dealing with a leg injury there.

03:25But the Chargers, when they lost Dobbins, became a different offense here.

03:30They are still very dangerous.

03:32I think they're very well coached.

03:35And anytime you have Justin Herbert in a winner-take-all situation, it's kind of hard, Dubs, not to

03:41give them, the fighters, a puncher's chance to get it going here.

03:44So, I worry about their defense, but the Chargers, on any given day, can beat anybody

03:51here with Justin Herbert under center.
