00:00
Good afternoon to all of us.
00:02
This is an update on the current time.
00:04
The Northeast Monsoon or AMIAN is still circulating in the northern and central Luzon area.
00:10
However, it will continue to flow in the evening cloudy skies
00:13
and there is a chance that it will weaken until the rainy season
00:16
in the Cagayan Valley and in the Cordillera Administrative Region.
00:20
Meanwhile, in the Ilocos Region and in the Central Luzon Area,
00:24
it is still possible for them to experience weak rains or thunderstorms.
00:28
This is also an effect of AMIAN.
00:30
Meanwhile, in the Mindanao Region,
00:32
and the clouds have reached the Palawan Area,
00:36
it is expected that it will experience rains due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
00:43
It is possible that in Mindanao and Palawan,
00:45
there will be heavy rains, thunderstorms, and floods.
00:48
So, be extra careful to our fellowmen,
00:51
especially those who live in low-lying areas and in mountainous areas,
00:54
because the expected rains brought by the IPCZ
00:58
are possible to cause floods and landslides.
01:02
Meanwhile, the Easter list is the one that is affecting the vast majority of our country,
01:07
and this Easter list also brings scattered rain showers and thunderstorms,
01:12
especially in the part of Quezon and in the Bicol Region.
01:16
So, tonight, we are expecting rains in the mentioned areas.
01:21
So, be extra careful to our fellowmen.
01:24
But here in Metro Manila, as well as in the vast majority of Quezon,
01:29
as well as in the whole of Visayas,
01:31
we are expecting generally fair weather conditions,
01:34
but it is still possible for thunderstorms to occur this afternoon until later tonight.
01:38
There is no time to monitor the low-pressure area or typhoon
01:42
that is possible to affect our country.
01:46
For our forecast for tomorrow,
01:48
because the Cordillera and Cagayan Valley are still in the dry season,
01:53
it is still possible for tomorrow to bring severe rains.
01:57
In Locos Region and the rest of Central Luzon or Central Luzon area,
02:01
the forecast for tomorrow is generally clear,
02:03
and if there are any rains, it will be isolated and severe.
02:09
But here in Metro Manila, Calabar Zone, as well as in the Bicol Region,
02:14
and in the Mindoro Provinces,
02:17
we are expecting fair weather conditions,
02:20
including thunderstorms and tornadoes.
02:23
Because in the Palawan region, we are still expecting scattered rains.
02:28
And if there are any rains that we will experience here in Metro Manila tomorrow,
02:32
it will be isolated and severe,
02:35
it will still bring easterlies.
02:37
Our temperature tomorrow here in Manila is from 25 to 31 degrees.
02:42
In Tagaytay, it is from 22 to 29 degrees Celsius.
02:45
In Baguio City, our temperature tomorrow is from 17 to 24 degrees.
02:49
And in Baguio City, it is from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
02:54
In Taguigarau, because the weather is gloomy tomorrow,
02:56
the temperature will be from 24 to 29 degrees.
03:01
And in Legazpi City, it is from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:05
And as I mentioned, because of the Intertropical Convergence Zone,
03:09
the Palawan and Kalayaan Islands,
03:12
the sky is still cloudy tomorrow and there will be scattered rains.
03:16
At 25 or 26 degrees Celsius to 31 degrees,
03:20
we are expecting severe temperatures.
03:23
Let us promise our fellowmen in Kabisayaan that by tomorrow,
03:28
we are expecting improving or favorable weather conditions.
03:31
And if there are any rains, it will be isolated and still bring easterlies.
03:37
We also have thunderstorm advisories on our social media accounts.
03:43
Our temperature tomorrow in Iloilo is from 26 to 32 degrees.
03:47
Metro Cebu, 26 to 30 degrees Celsius.
03:50
And in Tacloban, 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:54
Tomorrow, the effect of the Intertropical Convergence Zone will be slightly lower
03:58
but it will still bring scattered rains and thunderstorms
04:01
in Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and in some parts of Soksoy.
04:05
So be careful to our fellowmen there.
04:08
In some parts of Mindanao, the weather conditions are improving tomorrow
04:12
but the chance of rain is still high in the afternoon and at night
04:16
because of the Intertropical Convergence Zone.
04:19
Our temperature tomorrow in Cagayan de Oro is 25 to 30 degrees.
04:23
Zamboangat, 26 to 33 degrees Celsius.
04:26
And in Metro Davao, 26 to 32 degrees Celsius.
04:30
We do not have a gale warning that is high in any country in the ocean
04:34
so be careful fellowmen.
04:36
Our fellowmen, you should also be careful if there is a small vehicle at sea.
04:40
But we are warning our fellowmen who will sail in the northern Luzon area
04:45
because the moderate to rough sea conditions are still possible here.
04:51
For our 3-day weather outlook in the major cities of our country,
04:56
particularly here in Luzon, in Metro Manila,
04:59
generally fair weather conditions will be clear over the weekend
05:03
and until Monday.
05:04
And if there is rain, there will be isolated cases
05:07
and there will be occasional showers due to the localized thunderstorm.
05:12
For the city, the weather is still clear
05:14
but there are chances of thunderstorms due to the rain.
05:18
But for Legazio City, as we have seen,
05:20
the sky will be cloudy until Monday
05:23
and there will be scattered rains, floods, and landslides.
05:26
This is possible due to the Easter list
05:29
and possibly in the coming days or early next week,
05:32
they will also be affected by the shear line.
05:34
That is why we are preparing our fellowmen in the southern Luzon area
05:38
because we are expecting it to rain by next week.
05:44
Let's move on to our key cities in Kabisayaan,
05:47
particularly Metro Cebu, Iloilo, and Tacloban City.
05:51
Here in Metro Cebu and Iloilo, for the next 3 days,
05:54
we are not expecting heavy rains
05:57
so they will continue to experience light weather
06:01
except for thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
06:04
But in Tacloban, when Monday arrives,
06:06
it is possible that it will be affected by the shear line.
06:09
That is why we are expecting scattered rains, floods, and landslides.
06:13
But by Sunday and Monday,
06:15
we are expecting Tacloban City to experience light weather.
06:21
In Mindanao, for the next 3 days,
06:23
we are expecting that the effect of the Intertropical Convergence Zone
06:27
will subside.
06:29
That is why we are expecting Saturday, Sunday, and Monday
06:31
to be light weather in the whole of Mindanao,
06:35
particularly in Metro Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and Zamboanga City.
06:40
If we experience floods,
06:42
this will only be isolated due to localized thunderstorms.
06:47
We also have Thunderstorms Advisories
06:50
posted on our website and on our social media accounts.
06:56
Our day here in Camanilaan will end at 5.28pm
07:00
and will rise again tomorrow at 6.11am.
