00:00Good afternoon to all of us. This is an update on the two low-pressure areas that we are monitoring.

00:07One of them is inside our area of responsibility.

00:11The last one that we saw was 460 kilometers away from Siguran Aurora.

00:16The LPA said that we are not ruling out the possibility of a typhoon in the next few days.

00:24If this is a typhoon, we are not ruling out the possibility of a tropical cyclone wind signal

00:32in the eastern section of Northern Luzon.

00:38But even if this is not a typhoon, we will still monitor it.

00:43We should be prepared because in the next few days,

00:46it is also possible for moderate to heavy rains to fall,

00:49especially in the areas of Cagayan and Isabela

00:52where this afternoon, we are hoping that the LPA's forecast will extend

00:59to the areas of Cagayan and Isabela Aurora

01:03where we are expecting light to moderate with the times heavy rains.

01:07Meanwhile, the second LPA that we are monitoring is still 2,160 kilometers away from Eastern Visayas.

01:17It is still far from our Philippine landmass and there is no direct effect in any part of our country.

01:23It is a medium chance that it will be a typhoon in the next few days.

01:29That is why we will also monitor it because it is also possible for it to enhance in the coming days

01:35where it will fall during the rainy season in a large part of Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

01:41Today, we are hoping that heavy rains will continue to fall,

01:49especially in the northern portion of Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Aklan, Antique and Negros Occidental.

01:56That is why we should be careful because there are some areas that are already flooded

02:02and we are also expecting heavy rains

02:06where it is possible for it to increase in floods and landslides.

02:11That is why we should be careful and we will prepare twice as much for our countrymen.

02:16Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila and Central Luzon, Ilocos Region and Cordillera Administrative Region,

02:25we are hoping that it will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies

02:29except for the occasional rains and landslides caused by localized thunderstorms.

02:38Meanwhile, here in the southern part of Southern Luzon, Bicol Region, the rest of Mimaropa, Calabarzon Area,

02:45especially in Batangas, the skies will be cloudy and there will be occasional rains.

02:50That is also the case in Central and Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Bangsamoro and Suxargen.

03:59In other parts of Bicol Region, the weather will still be gloomy and there will be light to moderate rains,

04:06which is also an effect of the Southwest Monsoon.

04:08Meanwhile, if we see here in the northern part, particularly in Cagayan and Isabela,

04:13we are still expecting cloudy skies tomorrow and there will be scattered rains

04:19because of the trough or the extension of the clouds of the low pressure area that we mentioned.

04:25But here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of Luzon,

04:28the weather will be clear tomorrow, but there will be times when the sky will be cloudy

04:35and it is still possible for us to experience light to moderate rains,

04:39especially in the early morning, as well as in the afternoon and at night.

04:45Here in Camanilaan, our temperature tomorrow is 25 to 31 degrees Celsius,

04:49Baguio City, 17 to 24, Lawag, 25 to 32, 25 to 31 degrees in Taguigaraw,

04:56in Tagaytay, 23 to 29, and in Meligaspi City, 25 to 29 degrees Celsius.

05:04Let's go to Puerto Princesa and Calayaan Islands,

05:07where the minimum temperature and maximum temperature will reach 24 degrees Celsius,

05:12and it is only 28 to 29 degrees Celsius.

05:16For our fellow countrymen in Cabizayaan,

05:19particularly here in the western Visayas and in the Negros Island region,

05:24there will be strong storms and it is expected that there will be heavy rains tomorrow

05:28because of the trough.

05:30So be extra careful and be prepared, fellow countrymen, for these rains

05:45In the central and eastern Visayas, the weather is still gloomy tomorrow,

06:43And in Metro Davao, it is 26 to 33 degrees Celsius.

06:49And here are the areas where we have high gale warnings at the moment,

06:54particularly in Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Romblon, Western Visayas,

07:00Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Southern Leyte,

07:04Ilambaybayin of Leyte, Zamboanga del Norte, Camiguin, Dinagat Islands,

07:11and in Ilambaybayin of Surigao del Norte, we have high gale warnings.

07:16If we have gale warnings, we do not allow our fellow countrymen,

07:21fishermen, and also those who have small fishing boats,

07:25because we expect high waves, the wave height can reach up to 4.5 meters.

07:33In other cities, the sea condition will still be moderate to rough.

07:38That is why we are cautioning our fellow countrymen,

07:41but those who ride small sea crafts, we do not advise them to sail

07:48because the waves of the sea are still possible.

07:50But be careful with those who ride big sea crafts,

07:53because we expect moderate to rough sea conditions in other cities of our ocean.

08:01And this is what we expect, that there will be heavy rains in the next few days,

08:06where until tomorrow afternoon, we still expect heavy to intense rains

08:13in the northern portion of Palawan, Occidental Mindoro,

08:58We expect moderate to heavy rains in Mimasbate, the rest of Mimaropa,

09:02Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, and also in Cagayan,

09:07along with Bobuyan Islands and Isabela, Monday afternoon until Tuesday afternoon.

09:14Meanwhile, when it comes to Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday afternoon,

09:19it is also possible for heavy to intense rains in the northern portion of Palawan,

09:26Aklan, and Antique.

09:28We still expect moderate to heavy rains in the rest of Mimaropa,

09:33Western Visayas, Negros Island Region,

09:36and because of the trough or the effect of the LPA,

09:41we expect moderate to heavy rains in Cagayan, along with Bobuyan Islands,

09:46and also in the northern portion of Apayao.

09:49In the mentioned areas, we are preparing our countrymen for the possibility of floods and landslides,

09:57and we hope that they will consult their local government

10:00so that we can prepare for the heavy rains that we expect for the next few days.
