00:00Actress and comedian Rufa May Quinto faces an arrest warrant in relation to her involvement

00:05with Dermacare, the same company Neri Miranda is facing an ESTAFA charge for.

00:09Quinto's lawyer says the charges are not for large-scale or syndicated ESTAFA, but

00:13for 14 counts of violation of Section 8 of the Securities Regulation Code.

00:18Section 8 states that securities can only be sold or offered for sale with a registration

00:22approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

00:25Quinto released a statement through her lawyer on Tuesday, December 3.

00:28She denies all the accusations and says she will cooperate with the authorities.

00:32She adds, she too is a victim.
