00:05the LRT1, LRT2, and MRT3. Starting Friday, June 20, all students, including those studying at the

00:13postgraduate level, can enjoy a 50% discount on their train fares even on weekends and holidays.

00:19The discount will only apply to single journey tickets for now.

00:22But Transport Secretary Vince Dizon says they are working to program the fare discount into

00:27beep cards and stored-value tickets in the next few months. Students must present a valid school

00:32ID for the current school year or certificate of registration or enrollment to avail of the discount.
