00:15GMA News reports that one of the accused in the case had come forward and said the victims were
00:20already dead and the remains dumped in Taal Lake. The accused claims the victims were
00:24strangled to death after being caught cheating.

00:45of the Sabongeros for years now. As of December 2022, 34 Sabongeros were reported missing while
00:52only a few cases have been filed. In January, the Court of Appeals invalidated the lower court's
00:57decision allowing the suspects to post bail. It also denied the new request for bail,
01:02so the suspects were ordered rearrested.
