Storm Bert continues to move in, bringing impactful weather across much of the UK. A risk of snow remains for parts of Northern Ireland and Wales, quickly being replaces by rain as milder air moves in from the south. Meanwhile. snow persists through the morning for Scotland and northern England, combined with strong winds causing blizzards over higher ground. An amber weather warning for snow is in place for parts of Scotland.
