00:34However, some theories suggested that while gangster issues existed, they were not as

00:39severe as shown in the movies.

00:41The gangsters were not involved in major illegal businesses or firearms use.

00:46The problem was eventually cured when martial law was imposed to restore peace in the city

00:51after the 1958 coup.
