So let's talk about Sony.
00:01
You recently became the official technology partner
00:04
of the NFL.
00:05
Talk to us about this partnership
00:07
and why this was a strategic move for the company.
00:13
Yeah, we've worked with the NFL behind the scenes
00:15
for many, many years.
00:17
But by creating the new partnership that we have,
00:19
we really can bring this to the forefront
00:21
and let the world know of all the incredible things
00:24
and then also have a much tighter relationship
00:26
in terms of co-developing incredible technologies
00:30
for the future.
00:31
Sporting leagues are pretty lucrative right now.
00:34
Any plans to partner with other sports leagues?
00:38
Yeah, so our technology, we have a Hawkeye technology
00:41
that helps do officiating.
00:42
We work with 25 of the largest leagues all around the world.
00:46
So we're already working with a ton of them.
00:48
And then also other technologies,
00:50
we have a technology that can truly transform the game
00:54
and convert it from the real-world game
00:56
into this virtual world
00:58
so you can have your favorite cartoon characters
01:00
running around the field.
01:01
We did an example of that last year with Toy Story,
01:04
where it was the largest live event for Disney+.
01:07
And then, of course, things like our camera technology,
01:10
so the Associated Press using cameras to capture the game.
01:14
They're the official photographer of the NFL.
01:17
Another example is all the broadcast equipment.
01:20
That technology is really driven from Sony.
01:23
And then, of course, with new technology like our headset,
01:27
we're developing with the NFL a new headset
01:29
so that coaches communicate in real time
01:32
with all of their staff.
