00:07and how to deal with, in a vision that best protects the civil community, the criticisms of the national health system?

00:15Yes, I preface that the cooperative method is already in the private part of health, already a third of the companies,

00:23two thirds in terms of staff, especially in the internal areas.

00:27How to develop this resource? It is representative of a non-profit system, which now has more than 350,000 operators,

00:38who have adopted the cooperative method to work together and to create an alliance with those fragile people who are now on the territory.

00:46Fragile people who live outside the hospital and who often involve it improperly.

00:51Then we need clear rules. We also ask for a single direction on these issues.

00:56There is primary care in Italy, there is everything that should be out of the hospital, there is still no such system.

01:02So we would like clear rules, homogeneous in all regions.

01:06Today we have an abysmal difference between the southern regions and the northern regions,

01:11an intolerable thing that also reflects on the life expectancy of children at birth.

01:16So we would like to participate in the programming moments, because we are there with the people in the homes.

01:23So we would like to be able to say how it can be done.

01:26We have some ideas that we have today exposed to the Minister.

01:30We hope that soon what the WHO aspired to in 1978, that is, the birth of a primary care system, will be realized also in Italy.

01:42The civil economy as an ethical paradigm, also with regard to health,

01:47with the role now essential of the private sector in the social sector.

01:51How to combine quality assistance accessible to the entire civil community with the costs of a large hospital structure?

02:00It is about committing non-profit health to realize a series of answers to the most pressing needs that our communities represent of these times.

02:16So health first.

02:18It is therefore about involving a series of initiatives, very often non-profit and voluntary,

02:26with a financial commitment of the cooperative credit banks, by definition the community banks,

02:32and therefore try to give answers where the public cannot and certainly in the future will not be able to get to,

02:41and where private for-profit comes at very high prices.
