00:20Now, I didn't go after him tonight just because the Nats really don't have a lot of guys you

00:24want to back in terms of the run market.

00:27But he's allowed eight homers in his last five starts.

00:29It's only over a 30-inning span.

00:31That's not good numbers, eight homers in 30 innings.

00:33So Imanaga's been giving up some long balls.

00:36He has.

00:37He's also been extremely good on the road this year, six and one, 2.94 ERA on the road

00:43for him this year.

00:44The guy he's facing, Irving, has been just a hot mess this month in August, 1,700 runs,

00:5028 innings.

00:51He's two and seven at home.

00:53The Cubs have been playing great, seven and three over the last 10 games.

00:57They're also crushing the ball right now, which is interesting.

01:02Imanaga is tough.

01:03I mean, it's tough to back this Nats lineup thinking they're going to get to Imanaga.

01:07I don't think they will.

01:08I'm probably looking on the Cubs' backs to stay hot.

01:12So I'm going to look at the Cubs' team total to go up and over in this matchup.

01:18The Padres take the long trip to Tampa.

01:21Actually, they were just in St. Louis, so they continue a long trip.

01:24Now to the East Coast, where they will have Martín Pérez going tonight against Taj Bradley.

01:58there, they are usually really, really good this year, bouncing back from a loss the following

02:05game, especially on the road in Tampa, I mean, at home here.

02:10So I like the Padres to get it done early.

02:16Far too good a price here for such a good-hitting team to take advantage of a pitcher who's

02:22missing his spots.

02:23I think Bradley will give up some runs, and I think they'll have the lead after five innings.
