00:07Every living being finds its own place in the environment which is called shelter.
00:18Shelter provides protection to animals from other animals as well as cover from harsh
00:26weather.
00:29It is also a secure place for giving birth to young ones.
00:37Man is not the only animal that builds its shelter.

00:54Monkeys live on trees as trees are their natural habitat and source of food.

05:50Ears Most animals have a hearing range that is
05:55broader than our own.
05:58They can hear sounds that we cannot.
06:04Animals like elephants, rabbits, giraffes and donkeys have long ears.
06:12They use their ears to drive away insects and sense the surroundings.
06:20Sheep, goats, cows, dogs and lions have short ears.
06:34Some animals do not have any external ears.
06:40Frogs, lizards, birds and snakes have ears in the form of holes.

07:00Birds like spiders and cockroaches have tiny hair on their legs which they use to detect

07:13Animals that come out during cool nights have excellent hearing abilities, which enable
07:21them to not only find food and hunt prey in the dark, but also to hear their predators.
07:36Bats have an excellent sense of hearing and use it to navigate and hunt in the dark.
07:44They emit very high frequency squeaks that bounce off walls and other nearby objects,
07:54thus creating an echo.

09:08Some issues that they are trying to deal with are, over 30 million animals a year are killed
09:18on fur farms.
09:22It requires the fur of 100 chinchillas to make one human-sized fur coat.
09:32Over 2 million cats and dogs are killed every year in a single Asian country.
09:40Many of them are skinned alive.
