6 a.m. to 10 p.m. There will be no midnight flights here."
00:06
This will be the departure time for the last flight out of the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport
00:11
in Subang as jet airliners return to the airport this Thursday.
00:15
Transport Minister Lok Su Fook said the operating hours took into account the residential area
00:20
surrounding the airport.
00:22
He said six airlines will resume narrow-body aircraft operations at SZB, namely Firefly,
00:28
AirAsia, Baite Air, SKS Airways, Transnusa and Scoot.
00:33
He also said several enhancements to SZB's Skypark terminal have been completed, adding
00:38
that security screening and customs and immigration processes are expected to improve given the
00:42
installation of additional facilities and equipment.
00:46
Meanwhile, Lok said the Skypark Link, a train service connecting KL Central Station to the
00:51
airport's Skypark terminal, will resume operations once the new terminal is ready
00:55
by 2027.
00:57
He added that if there is increased demand and more flights coming into the airport,
01:01
then the service may resume earlier.
