00:16Miaou. Miaou.
00:30Henry's Cat had just seen the weather forecast. It was so bad, he switched to the other station.
00:52The weather was even worse on that channel, so he switched off.
01:00He thought it would be much better if the TV people sorted out the weather properly,
01:05so that it was only bad during the night, when everybody was asleep.
01:09The more he thought about it, the more he wondered if he could make a good weatherman,
01:14and just give good weather news.
01:17As he wasn't quite sure how to become a weatherman, he went to ask Chris Rabbit's advice.
01:23Oh, I'm thinking of becoming a weatherman, because I'm not very happy with the weather we're getting.
01:30Do you know how to do it, Chris?
01:33Oh yeah, that's easy, said Chris Rabbit.
01:36All you do is ring up the weather bureau and tell them what you want,
01:39like two sunny days, a rainy day, a couple of windy ones, and some sleet and snow.
01:44You get four half-price out of season, and if you order two low-pressure areas, you get one free.
01:50Oh, said Henry's Cat.
01:53If that's all you have to do, I'll practice at it right away, and apply for a job on TV.
02:00And with that, Henry's Cat cut a hole in a cardboard box,
02:04and put it over his head, and pretended he was reading the weather news.
02:08Oh, good evening, everyone. I'm the weatherman.
02:12Today we have lots of weather for everybody.
02:16In the south, there will be thick snow drifting eastwards till lunchtime,
02:21when an extinct volcano will heat up and make it disappear.
02:26Heatwaves will spread over non-parking areas,
02:29so motorists should avoid rainbows on the Great West Road.
02:34Scattered showers will remain dry until everyone has gone home.
02:39Have a nice weekend, everybody.
02:42Chris Rabbit was very impressed.
02:45Oh, you can have a spot of cloud competition and special weather for birthdays, suggested Chris.
02:51Now it was only a matter of getting a TV job.
02:54They went for a walk to think about it.
02:57Oh, thinking requires food for thought, said Henry's Cat,
03:01and immediately went into a shop to buy a Swiss roll and some pickled onions.
03:05As he was paying for them, he noticed something.
03:08It was a TV set with himself on it.
03:12Oh, excuse me, lady. That looks like me on your TV set.
03:18Oh, it is you, said the lady.
03:21It's a special TV to keep an eye on things in shops.
03:25Well, this gave Henry's Cat an idea.
03:29Do you mind if I practice my weather forecast on it?
03:34I'm just going for a TV job, asked Henry's Cat.
03:39As there was nobody else in the shop, the lady allowed him to practice while she wrapped his goods.
03:44By the time he had finished, there were lots of people in the shop.
03:48All passers-by had heard his good weather news.
03:52And of course, once they were in, they all bought something.
03:57The shop lady was very pleased and offered Henry's Cat a regular TV spot every Saturday morning
04:03and said he would be paid in ice cream and toffee apples.
04:07Of course, Henry's Cat accepted right away, saying,
04:10Wow, every cloud has a silver lining.
04:14And no one had to ask whether he liked ice cream or not.
04:26Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
