00:04With the number 9 overall pick, the Memphis Grizzlies select Zach Eadie.

00:19I was like, hey, thanks for the tip, homie. If you would have told me the exact result,

00:23I would have been rich. I know, well it was only 7-1, or maybe it

00:27was actually, let me see, that was for 7. So to go 9, Eadie was only plus 600.

00:35So we really didn't get that much value. We could have gotten 7, 8, 9, or 10.

00:42So that was all good. Plus 500, and we get the Eadie under 15.5.

01:10Zach Eadie kind of felt like the guy that was going to jump and go higher than what

01:13he was getting mocked just because of what he did in college, and you felt like there

01:17was a team that needs a big, would that be the opportunity there, and the Grizzlies end

01:21up taking it. I mean, yeah, it was amazing when we first talked about it, was it last

01:27week, Mario, or was it the beginning of this week, where we talked about him being at 16.

01:30It was 16.5, and it jumped down to 15 pretty quick. It was Monday, right?

01:33Monday, that was Monday. Yeah, and I looked at that number, and I was

01:36like, 16.5 is way too high for him. That's an easy under, and it kept dropping down.

01:40There were some 14.5s, I think, out there too, but yeah, it's just, you look at somebody

01:44like that in a lot of other drafts that may have had more talented big men that are the

01:48big men that you see today in the NBA, you might not see Zach Eady going in the top 10

01:54with today's NBA, but like, it's all development players in this draft for the most part, or

01:59guys with lower ceilings that may just be solid veterans down the road, so if you're

02:03the Grizzlies, why not? Why not take him at that point?

02:09I can't wait to see just kind of like what it looks like, to be honest, because I mean,

02:12the dude could play like we talked about last night. He played 40 minutes like every game

03:01He got traded to Minnesota. The Timberwolves were sending a 20-31 unprotected first.

03:07And a protected, and it's a top one protected 20-30 pick swap to the Spurs for Dillingham.

03:12So that's way, way down the road, which in a lot of ways, if you're making a trade and you're getting picks back from a good team,

03:17you're better off trading for picks way down the line.

03:20Hoping that they're gonna be bad versus next year or the year after when they could still be a late first-round pick.

03:26Fascinating. Man, Minnesota, that was a good trade for them, Minnesota.

03:30Finding a way to replace Mike Conley because Mike Conley is old, old as dirt.
