00:08have reached an agreement on their respective defamation suits against each other.

00:13Muhyiddin said the decision was made after taking into account the advice of the Kuala

00:18Lumpur High Court judge and the impact of the suits on the public.

00:23The joint statement said the decision to settle the suits was also made due to the current

00:28state of the country, especially matters concerning the rakyat's welfare.

00:34Muhyiddin, a former prime minister, sued Anwar for defamation over the latter's claim that

00:39the PN government did not write off Rp 8.3 billion in Felda settlers' debt.

00:46Anwar, who is Pakatan Harapan chairman, also filed a defamation suit against the Bersatu

00:52president over his allegation that the former received Rp 15 million from the Selangor government

00:58while serving as its economic advisor.
