00:00 At Strathalbyn Market here today with Ben Dickinson from Nutrient Strathalbyn.

00:04 Can you tell us how big was the yarding here today and what was on offer?

00:07 Yeah look we yarded approximately sort of 850 or 6o calves

00:12 and in that sort of consignment was probably 40 or 50 cows,

00:16 PTIC and sort of calf at foot so that was sort of our total yarding today

00:21 between 850 and sort of 900. And was there, what were people chasing

00:25 in particular? Look we'd quote our sort of feeder

00:28 cattle as probably firm, we'd quote our sort of grassy cattle

00:31 was sort of 250 to 340 kilos, maybe slightly dearer I think,

00:37 which is what I think most guys were sort of having a crack at with the

00:41 hope that it's going to rain shortly and we'll have some feed.

00:44 And where were those buyers generally buying from?

00:48 Mid north west coast were particularly strong, upper south east had a fair go

00:53 today so and our feeder buyers range from upper

00:57 south east to to the mid north as well with two

00:59 prominent guys having a really good go.
