00:31 The lack of jobs have affected people from all economic classes in India.

00:40 In New Delhi, Faraz, a former engineering student, gave up his studies because he feared

00:45 he would not find a job in this sector.

00:47 He now spends his days studying for a government job, aiming to secure a lifelong career as

00:52 a civil servant.

00:53 This aspiration comes with its share of challenges.

00:56 Even within the government sector, since the number of vacancies are fluctuating a lot,

01:02 both in the central and the state services, there is a level of uncertainty here as well,

01:07 which makes us apprehensive about job opportunities in the government sector as well.

01:42 wanting to go there because they are not getting proper work here.

01:48 In the lead up to the polls, a survey by India's Centre for the Study of Developing Societies

01:55 found that half of the 966 million voters are concerned about the unemployment in the
