00:00These images show the strikes on Evin prison in northern Tehran.
00:05Right after the strike, Israel said it only targeted the entrance gate of the prison
00:10where various political prisoners are detained along with other inmates.
00:15But images from Iran's official SNN News Agency show that several areas of the facility were severely damaged,
00:24including this section where inmates reunited with their families.
00:29Iran's judiciary authorities said that Israel hid the prison's health center,
00:34the engineering building, the visits building, and the prison's prosecutor's office.
00:39Among the 71 deaths announced by authorities, there were inmates, visitors, prison guards,
00:45the prosecutor, and several people from his office.
00:49Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nargesh Mohammadi had been detained in Evin prison.
00:58Evin absolutely was not a legitimate target to attack.
01:01Attacking a prison, when the inmates are standing behind closed doors
01:05and they are unable to do the slightest thing to save themselves, can never be a legitimate target.
01:13After Monday's attack, inmates, including political prisoners, were displaced to other detention centers.
01:20Many families have had no news from their relatives since, including the families of French tourists,
01:27Cécile Collère and Jacques Paris, who have been arbitrarily detained for three years.
