00:07 earlier, U.S. media sources talking to the Pentagon and others confirming an Israeli operation

00:16 inside Iran, and apparently Israel informing Washington of that in advance, which is what you

00:24 would expect in this kind of incident, the U.S. responding that they were certainly not going to

00:30 take part and not necessarily endorsing this action. It's also reported that Israel provided

00:38 assurances that nuclear facilities near Isfahan would not be targeted, and that indeed appears

00:45 to have been the case. And now we await further more official information, but certainly this

00:54 will, I think, add to concerns for many in Washington across the political spectrum of the

01:00 risks of wider escalation in the region. We knew that in recent days Joe Biden was pressuring

01:09 Israel to not retaliate for that Iranian attack on Israel. Last week, of course, more than 300

01:18 missiles and drones, the U.S. urging restraint, and it remains to be seen whether perhaps that

01:26 was at least partially successful. Perhaps this Israeli attack was not on such a big scale as it

01:34 might have been. Some hope maybe that this will be the end and Iran will not feel obliged to

01:41 respond, but for now it obviously remains a tense and unpredictable situation.
