A 40-year-old man has been arrested and charged with robbery and making threats with a bladed article around Coventry Road. Terry Elsmore, from Brays Road, was taken into custody on 10th March. It follows a range of incidents in the area.

Plans for the redevelopment of Hill West Junior School in Sutton Coldfield have been recommended for approval. The proposa, set to be discussed by the city council, would see a new two-storey school building as well as the creation of a multi-use games area.
