Transport for West Midlands has announced the return of an e-scooters for hire scheme. The previous scheme was paused as transport chiefs announced they were looking for a new contract following safety concerns. The new scheme will be delivered by transport operator Beryl.

Two people have been arrested for murder following the fatal stabbing of a 33 year old man in Kings Heath on Wednesday. A 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman are currently in custody. Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward.
