00:02 - Hi.

00:03 - How are you feeling?

00:04 - Really good, a little shaky.

00:06 I think it's like a combination of jet lag and excitement.

00:10 Yes.

00:11 Yeah, the first question about excitement,

00:13 I think absolutely put a lot of your heart and soul

00:18 into making a film.

00:20 A lot of people are away from their families

00:22 for months at a time and you bond with this group of people

00:27 and the excitement of it being received or seen

00:31 or loved by people is immensely meaningful

00:36 and you don't know if that's gonna happen or not,

00:39 if it's gonna resonate with people

00:40 the way that it does with you.

00:41 And also to be a producer on this film,

00:44 this was the first film that I produced alongside of acting

00:47 and so it feels like doubly, doubly meaningful

00:51 because I just both in front of and behind,

00:54 it was incredible to be part of it.

00:56 And then what role awards serve,

00:58 I think for a lot of films,

01:01 it brings people into theaters to see it,

01:03 it brings more attention to a film.

01:06 And I think there are a lot of people who deserve awards

01:11 that never get awards,

01:13 which also creates a conversation about why

01:15 and hopefully culture changes more and more

01:19 and expands more and more to include so many people

01:22 in so many ways.

01:23 So awards are an interesting thing,

01:25 but I think they can be incredibly meaningful

01:28 to films that people might not otherwise see.

01:31 Is it chin wag a chat?

01:32 - Yeah.

01:33 (laughing)

01:34 - Do you ever get to have a chat with them

01:36 just like a normal piracy after this?

01:38 - A little bit.

01:39 I've gotten to see a good amount of these people

01:44 at different things throughout the past few weeks.

01:48 So I mean, Bachelors, there's no commercial break,

01:54 there's no time to run to the loo as it were.

01:57 Okay.

01:58 (laughing)

02:00 So you really don't get much time to kind of talk in between

02:03 so I haven't gotten to talk to too many people yet,

02:05 but I did see Killian and we did have a bit of a chin wag.
