Two men and a teenage boy are now on trial for the murder of Cody Fisher who was knifed on a dancefloor in Digbeth on Boxing Day 2022. Jurors at Birmingham Crown Court heard Kami Carpenter, Remy Gordon and Reegan Anderson killed Mr Fisher in a ferocious attack.
An elderly woman has died following a road collision in Harborne. The pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being hit by a delivery van on Monday. Police said the delivery driver stopped at the scene and is helping with enquiries.
Residents of Digbeth have spoken out as the trendy neighbourhood has been pictured covered in fly-tipped waste and abandoned cars. Addressing the fly-tipping issue, Birmingham City Council said the authority would prosecute those found responsible for illegally dumping rubbish.
