West Midlands Police is appealing for information after officers were attacked on the Coventry Road and Ladypool Road in Small Heath. Officers were assaulted while investigating community concerns over illegal street trading, with one suffering a minor injury after a bottle was thrown.
Two men - including a man from Birmingham - have been found guilty for kidnapping two women after targeting them at a nightclub. Badr Alhadidi aged 39 was convicted of kidnap while his accomplice was found guilty of rape. They will be sentenced on the 26th May.
