00:00Look at Yorkshire, we've got everything out. We've got countryside, we've got cities, we've got maybe the coastlines are good, but as long as you don't go in and see, you're fine.
00:11The best parts about Yorkshire, it's just like countrysides. You know when you go outside on the outskirts of Leeds, there's like, you know, bustling places, you know, like countrysides, villages.
00:24I personally grew up in Leeds, specifically Seacroft, which is known for being one of the little rougher areas, but there are some really good hidden gems in there.
00:34One of them being Chapel FM, which is a radio station that does things very similar to this, which I take part in quite a bit.
00:40I really enjoy doing that, and it's something that has helped me access more of Leeds and get more information on the different areas here and stuff, such as the Yorkshire Dales, which is a place that I've never been to in my life despite growing up here.
00:56And I got to go with them recently, and it was amazing.
00:59I love Yorkshire. I spent a lot of time in Salterre as well. Salterre, Bingley. So Leeds is obviously amazing, but I think there's also these other parts that people don't know about.
01:08I love the Temple Museum because it's very nice, especially when you go for a walk with your kids as well, with family.
01:16I think it's really, really nice, that kind of natural vibe, and it's really amazing.
01:22And then I like the fact that there's a lot of museums as well, so you can actually go with your children at any time, especially they always have things going on for kids.
01:33Yeah, I just love the melding between the historical stone architecture and the industrial landscape, the canals.
01:40Yeah, and also looking forward to a great big stretch of green and the hills and the peaks when we go to the Dales.
01:49The best thing about Leeds is probably, like, the shops. There's a lot of shops. And, like, the independent ones as well.
01:55And, like, there's always, like, gigs going on in different places, and you can always, like, find people in Leeds to, like, get away.
02:02Yeah, I'd say, like, the nightlife here is really good for students and, like, people our age are a bit younger, and we tend to, like, come here really often.
02:11As for Leeds, you've got everything. It's compact, how many restaurants we have. We've got your spoons, you've got your high-end, and your theatres. We've got them all.
02:23There's also some beautiful landscapes, like Ilkley Moors, for example, which isn't technically Leeds, but it's Yorkshire, so I'm counting it.
02:29In the Dales and certain areas, like Chippy's Quarry, which is in Swarcliffe, just, there's a beautiful mixture of cultural and nature-specific things to look out for here.
02:43I just think Yorkshire in general, you know, you've got a great mix of scenery in Yorkshire, haven't you?
02:48You've obviously got these cities, Leeds and Bradford, which are both really great in their own ways, and it's very close by.
02:56You've got the moors, the canal, the river, you've just got a bit of everything.
