00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Theo Cusenbets. Today I'm out on the streets
00:03of Manchester asking people about the junior doctor's strike. And that's because, despite
00:07signing a recent agreement, junior doctors are still on strike arguing about pay and
00:12working conditions. We want to know if people think it's understandable why they're still
00:16striking or if they think there's a better route to getting a proper conclusion for everyone.
00:20I do think we have a democratic right to strike and I think, yeah, if they've got an argument
00:26to go and their working conditions are not correct, then they should be able to strike.
00:31No, I do not understand the argument because nobody says how much the people at the top
00:39of the tree get. All the hundreds of thousands of pounds they get for just sitting in an office.
00:49They've said, like, they won't do any harm and then you can see the argument of people
00:52if they're having appointments cancelled and things like that. But then that's not for
00:56the junior doctor's story about, is it?
