The City Council has been asked to provide affordable accommodation for the refugees,

following an agreement with the Department of Leveling Up Housing and Communities.

Work has begun on a large part of Radcliffe Town Centre as it is being demolished to make

Diggers and cranes have moved into an enclosed compound around the town's central piazza,
00:33
where buildings are being levelled to make way for the civic hub.
