Their reunion tour kicks off in Manchester imminently, so we had a look at their gig in Cardiff last week to analyse the set list and see what might make it in.
00:00Hello and welcome to Manchester World. My name is Theo Hewson-Betz and today, surprise, surprise, we're talking about Oasis.
00:06Liam and Noel Gallagher are back in Manchester playing their very first gigs back in the city and for those who have tickets, an amazing night is in store for you.
00:13The band played the first set of their reunion tour in Cardiff last week and performed 23 of their best-known songs for a sold-out Principality Stadium.
00:20We're going to use today's video to run through that set list to give you an idea of what's in store for you at Heaton Park over the course of the next week.
00:26We're going to start with the support acts, Richard Ashcroft and Kast.
00:29Richard Ashcroft, of course, was the lead singer and guitarist for The Verve and he'd have no trouble selling out some gigs himself.
00:34Over in Cardiff, he performed Sonnet, Song for Lovers, Break the Night with Colour, Lucky Man, The Drugs Don't Work and Bittersweet Symphony.
00:41Kast performed one less song, making it five in total, with their performances including Sandstorm, Fine Time and Guiding Star.
00:48On to the main event and Liam obviously takes on the bulk of the singing but there are some Noel-centric songs mixed in there.
00:54We're going to start appropriately with Hello, followed by Acquies and Morning Glory.
00:57Some might say is next up with Bring It On Down, Cigarettes and Alcohol and Fade Away making up a brilliant little run of songs.
01:04Supersonic and Roll With It come afterwards, followed by Noel taking over vocals for Talk Tonight, Half The World Away and Little By Little.
01:11After his rest, Liam takes us through to the end with Do You Know What I Mean, Stand By Me, Cast No Shadow, Slide Away and Whatever.
01:18Live Forever comes next and last week that was dedicated to former Liverpool attacker Diogo Jota after his heart-wrenching passing in a car crash recently.
01:26Rock and Roll Star is the last song of the normal gig but if you make enough noise to warrant an encore,
01:31you'll be treated to Noel's rendition of The Master Plan and Don't Look Back in Anger before the gig comes to a close with Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova.
01:37That's all for now, enjoy the show if you're making it there and follow Manchester World for more.
