00:00A man who was stabbed to death outside a five-star London hotel has now been named as 24-year-old
00:07Blue Stevens. The father, believed to be from Yately in Surrey, was attacked outside the Park
00:14Tower Hotel and Casino in Knightsbridge in central London on Wednesday evening. He died at the scene
00:22despite the efforts of the emergency services. Mr Stevens had reportedly driven to the area in a
00:31white BMW and parked around 50 yards from where the fatal stabbing took place. Now it's believed he
00:38was returning to his car when he was suddenly attacked. The Met Police are now investigating
00:46whether the incident may have been a targeted robbery as witnesses have reported seeing a
00:52suspect try to steal a watch from his wrist. When Mr Stevens resisted, a violent struggle broke out
00:59ending in tragedy. Emergency crews were seen entering and leaving the hotel shortly after the attack. It
01:07remains unclear whether Mr Stevens had even visited the casino prior to the incident.
01:15Mr Stevens' partner, who was with him at the time, returned to the scene on Thursday to leave a
01:22card among a growing number of floral tributes in Knightsbridge. Emergency services were called at
01:309.24pm on Wednesday to Seville Road where they found the victim with stab wounds. He was treated by
01:37paramedics but did die at the scene shortly after the emergency services had arrived.
