00:00 moment everybody's waiting for those pictures because it's been reported on
00:04 social media that what we're that the hostages which now includes of course as
00:09 you know the ties as well the 12 ties and the 13 Israelis have been met by the
00:15 Red Cross or the Red Crescent in Khan Yunus making their way to Rafah and the
00:20 pictures behind me are the Israeli ambulances waiting at Rafah so that's
00:26 what we're that's what we're waiting all waiting to see you in Paris and of
00:33 course all the journalists here in Tel Aviv and it was talk us through what
00:36 happens once they reach the Rafah border crossing I guess it's going to be the
00:40 same protocols for the ties who have been held hostage as well as for the
00:45 Israelis presume that you know because they weren't part of this deal but it
00:51 might just be easier to get them out at one stage there was a whole discussion
00:55 that they would go straight to Cairo or perhaps to Tehran do you remember there
00:59 was a an Iranian initiative to release them but I imagine it will just be
01:04 easier to get them out via Kerem Shalom the border crossing the Israel-Egypt
01:09 border crossing area back up to hospitals in Tel Aviv you know they have
01:14 to be seen for the health reasons all the same treatment that the Israeli
01:19 hostages are getting would be very helpful of course for the ties who've
01:22 been in the same situation under the ground for 49 days. Iris earlier we had
01:28 our colleague Claire Paquelin who was at hostage square in Tel Aviv and she was
01:33 talking to someone's who has their brother held hostage in in Gaza and who
01:39 was obviously not part of this this deal who won't be released over the next four
01:44 days and something he said that struck me he said the government needs to do
01:48 whatever it takes to just release these hostages give them whatever they want it
01:53 should be about that not about fighting Hamas but getting the hostages back will
01:59 that kind of pressure weigh in on and affect things in the days to come you
02:03 think? I think it's only the pressure of these families that even has brought
02:09 about the release that we're seeing today and the deal that we're seeing
02:13 today because I know there were some in the military who were opposed to it and
02:18 even within security cabinet there were some who thought it was better to wait
02:21 but the pressure from the families the fear after finding two hostages two
02:26 female hostages dead near al-shifa hospital a third one reported by Islamic
02:31 Jihad the other Palestinian militant group who are holding her reporting that
02:35 she was dead there's a very real fear that the longer you hold them the real
02:39 fear is that they simply won't survive so you can understand the pressure from
02:43 the people whose families are not whose relatives are not being released you
02:48 know there's one three-year-old child in fact today is her fourth birthday she's
02:54 she and she has no parents no parents to return to and no one with her there's
02:59 another boy who's there with his father shouldn't his father come with him his
03:02 mother's his mother isn't alive either so there's all these questions that the
03:07 relatives are asking and of course you can understand that. It seems that things
03:11 are in motion Iris because while you were speaking we do have confirmation
03:15 from the Thai Prime Minister that those 12 hostages have in fact been released
03:20 by Hamas so clearly we're all waiting for that Red Crescent convoy to make its
03:27 way to the Rafa border crossing where we will see those I imagine Iris we're
03:33 gonna see those images of of people getting out of whatever trucks and being
03:39 loaded into helicopters is that it?
03:43 Iris will people be be taken to hospitals in Tel Aviv by helicopter?
03:53 That's right I'm sorry I was just turning around to see the images behind
03:59 me which are of still of the same image so that is it seems like we have a
04:07 technical problem with Iris. I've heard two versions I originally I heard helicopter
04:12 and recently I've heard planes so I don't know which of those two it is but
04:16 it will be by air also having said that I just heard a third version a third
04:20 version that said vehicles but I do believe it'll be a plane.
